We believe that developing and cultivating leadership skills of individuals, both young and old, in areas of their giftedness is critical for the building up of the church and its ministries.

We believe that each person possesses unique qualities that can be used in the work of the church.  We want to be active in our discernment of the abilities found in each other.  We also want to be committed and accountable to each other for how we can best use these gifts in our congregational ministries.  Those who believe they are called to a particular area of work should be open to affirmation by the congregation.

We recognize that all gifts are from God and are to be used for His glory in the world.  Helping people within our church find ways they can live out God's kingdom through their work, whatever vocation they are in, is an important task of the church.

We want to teach and mentor to improve the gifts we discern in our congregation.  Those who have skills and experience will help shape those who have gifts yet to be developed.
